Christmas is truly enjoyed years later, the hustle and bustle forgotten and the memories of the day strung together through the years.
As I wake up on Christmas Eve morning and run out to the supermarket I am struck by how hectic life is in the lead up to the holidays. It seems overwhelming, the shopping, the preparation and the stress of giving the perfect gift.
When the holiday finally arrives it comes and goes in the blink of an eye and we all seem to tired to enjoy ourselves and our precious time with family and friends. Christmas is truly enjoyed years later, the hustle and bustle forgotten and the memories of the day strung together through the years. What seems so quick at the time lingers in our memories forever…

This year Nathaniel will celebrate his second Christmas. He doesn’t quite understand the magic of the season even though he will be at the center of the excitement. Christmas truly is for the children and he will be the star. I only hope I can capture the excitement and joy so that he may remember it for years to come.

Lets raise a glass and toast the holidays, no matter the hectic the lead up or the light speed the day seems to take on. The memories are there stored for us to recall years later. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
