A sky of geese falls
In cacophonous ripples
Still waters shattered
The YouTube video by 50 Duck in a Hot Tub is a replay of a 2 hour long live stream from 2018. I don’t recommend watching the entire video unless you have a lot of time on your hands but the first five minutes fit with my post and is amazing to see wave after wave of these Canada Geese land on the water.

‘Cacophonous ripples’ is great wordplay.

Thanks Chel. I remember the first time I witnessed a flock of geese landing on the pond behind my last home. It really is an apt description.

It’s Canada Goose season here in England, just where I live. You’ve captured their busy energy so well. Just off to watch your video now!

Thanks, Margaret, I wish I could say it was mine. I found it on YouTube but it does fit well with the Haiku. I couldn’t believe how many Blue Jays were feeding in the foreground. Normally you only see one maybe two at a time.

I wondered what they were. Unlike the Canada Goose, we don’t have them here.
